Program

The program will address 3 major questions:

(1) What are excitons and how to investigate them ? (Modelling, experimental tools for the study of the optical properties)
(2) What are the properties of excitonic materials ? Special focus will be given to organic semiconductors, 2D-semiconductors, colloidal semiconducting nanoparticles and hybrid perovskites.
(3) How to design and characterize excitonic devices ? Photovoltaic cells, Light-emitting diodes (from Perovskite, Organic semiconductor, or quantum dot materials), lasers, sensors and detectors, scintillators
Courses will be given by internationally-renowned speakers, coming from all around the world.
