A World of Colors : From Gabriel Lippmann to Nanophotonics
is intended to commemorate the Nobel prize attributed to Gabriel Lippmann in 1908. Prestigious speakers will lecture throughout the day, stressing the links between Lippmann's interferential photography and structural colors, and showing that nano-technologies have a very long history, both in man manufactured items and in nature.
